This trip allows you to get a more “hands on” experience of Tibet. It is designed to show you more of this fascinating land and her people. Your visits to Tsetang, Gyangtse, Shigatse and Lhasa overland will take you must travel to the roof of the world to see, observing one of the most colorful and fascinating religions and cultures on earth. The difference being that you will be doing so in comfort.
After you are met off the flight from Kathmandu at Lhasa"s Gonggar Airport, you will proceed directly to Tsetang; avoiding Lhasa which you will visit at the end of your sojourn in Tibet - after having travelled through Gyangtse and Shigatse. For some this is the ideal Tibet trip. Not long and with much time spent outside Lhasa.

Itinerary
Day 01 Arrive in Kathmandu. Your passport will be collected from you by our representative to process your special Chinese visa for Tibet. Depending on the arrival time of your flight sightseeing of Kathmandu.
Day 02 In Kathmandu to make final preparations for your trip to Tibet. If you feel that you are sufficiently prepared then sightseeing of Patan Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath and Bodhnath.
Day 03 Transfer to the airport, fly to Lhasa and drive to Tsedang.
Day 04 Sightseeing of Yambulakhang and Chedruk Temple to round off your visit to Tsetang.
Day 05 Drive to Gyangtse via the Yamdrok Tso.
Day 06 Morning tour around Gyangtse and then drive to Shigatse.
Day 07 Morning visit of the Tashilunpo monastery. In the afternoon drive to Lhasa.
Day 08 Sightseeing of Lhasa including the Potala Palace and the Norbulingkha.
Day 09 Sightseeing of Lhasa including the Drepung monastery, the Jokhang temple and the Barkhor Bazaar.Sightseeing of Lhasa including the Drepung monastery, the Jokhang temple and the Barkhor Bazaar.
Day 10 Transfer to the airport and fly back to Kathmandu
Day 11 Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath and Bhaktapur.
Day 12 At an appointed time, transfer to the airport and depart from Nepal.
